Those following the community end of the gaming scene might have seen rumored E3 lists floating around, one showing both previously announced titles, as well as a few oddball titles. One of those titles was a game based on the classic film The Godfather from Electronic Arts. This morning, at the Bear Stearns 17th Annual Media, Entertainment and Information Conference, Electronic Arts confirmed that they’re developing a game based on the film. While details weren’t put forth, Electronic Arts Warren Jenson, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), made the statement, revealing the game will be an of the ESRB rating of “M” for mature.

Additionally, since pretty much all presentations have mentioned them, Electronic Arts touched briefly on the next-generation. Although not as riveting as say launch games or anything of that sort, EA did state it estimates Xbox 2 launch as being during late 2005, with PlayStation 3 estimated as coming out during late 2006.
